Opening!

At last!  we are ready, baskets arrive, shaped, and photographed.   It took a while for the baskets to be woven and sent over, but we are now ready and raring to go...  You will also find us at various events in the coming year, take a look at the 'Find us At' page.

I have been sent the first pictures of my baskets from the cooperative that's weaving then all in Ghana.  Here is a picture of a basket near completion.  The bits of grass are left sticking out during the weaving process, they are trimmed off when the basket is completed.

Welcome to my new online store, I hope you love the products I sell here as much as I do.  So perhaps a little about me....  I have been a stay at home mum for the last 4 years but as my daughter approaches school age, I have realised with ever increasing urgency that I need to find a job, so I decided to open up my own online store. (Going back to Software Engineering is not an option!).   I hope to broaden my stock in time, to include more beautiful hand crafted items from around the globe.
